Ben LaMora Named President of HBRACC

Ben LaMora of Lineal Architects + Builders was named President of the Home Builders and Remodeler Association of Cape Cod (HBRACC) at the association’s annual dinner meeting December 14th.  The event was held at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club and celebrated the year’s hard work and successes as well as the installation of Board Officers and Directors. 

Ben LaMora is president and founding partner of Lineal, Inc. Architects + Builders, a boutique design-build firm serving Cape Cod and the South Shore. Lineal specializes in high-end residential projects, offering clients a unique collaborative process that results in homes that far exceed expectations.  LaMora has represented Lineal at HBRACC since 2014 and will focus his efforts on work force development during his coming term as president. “The most pressing need in the building industry today is talent. We need the next generation of trades people to be entering the workforce and building their careers as carpenters, plumbers and technicians.” LaMora states. He continues, “There are wheels already in motion at HBRACC to attract, retain and re-train people interested in the trades and I look forward to supporting those efforts with my fellow board members.”

Executive Officer Chris Flanagan comments on LaMora’s appointment, “For several years as a board member, the Association and the building industry have benefitted from Ben LaMora’s hard work and leadership on workforce development and other initiatives. Members of HB&RACC not only believe in Ben’s ability to lead the Association over the next two years as president, but know he will excel in his new role.”
