Our Process

The process can start with an idea, a sketch or even a photograph. Where your project starts begins with you—the client. We are here to facilitate, inspire and execute your dream.

Discovery

There’s a period of discovery that can mean sketching ideas on a napkin, looking at photographs our clients have collected or simply listening.
Site Study

An architectural site analysis is crucial to understand the environment around your future home. We conduct a project-specific review of applicable building codes, local zoning ordinances, land use plans and other regulations to determine feasibility, what is appropriate for the neighborhood and what is within the budget.
Design

Based on the discovery and analysis phases, the site master plan and drawings are made at this stage. Land use planning shows how the land will be used and is included in the report. The plans show the structure and layout of the home, landscaping, and other design elements of the project. 2D and 3D renderings, live overlays and elevation plans help our clients’ vision come to life. At the conclusion of the design phase, we will have a full set of executable construction documents.
Construction

As licensed general contractors, we are able to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, develop and adhere to a construction schedule, and keep track of complex budgets. We maintain a staff of carpenters and construction managers that ensure the work is done to meet our exacting standards. And we are there every step of the way.
